Hill Farmstead Anna Saison, Vermont

Updated: Jun 18

Omg. No way words can describe this, by far the best beer I have ever had. Maybe the best thing I have ever tasted. Better than A1 Wagyu Steak, which is very very good! Seriously, this is an amazing beer. Light, just enough malt, a little sour but barely, so crisp. I had Edward, their pale ale, earlier, and was extremely impressed, but this is really something else. I recommend everyone get to Vermont to taste this beer because it's actually perfect. I think everything I could say about it has been said. Go taste this beer!

Farmstead® ale brewed with Vermont wildflower honey and organic malted barley. Lively, pleasingly dry, and expressing a refreshing tartness. 6% abv

From The Brewer:

Anna (1902-1993) was our grandfather’s sister; Hill Farmstead Brewery rests upon the land that was once home to her and her 13 siblings. In her honor, this honey Farmstead® ale is crafted from American malted barley, European and American hops, Vermont wildflower honey, our distinctive farmhouse yeast and water from our well. Unfiltered and naturally carbonated, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Anna.

Sounds like a great trip. Would be awesome if you could post an itinerary of your route and a quick note about each brewery. Epic beer travel!

I am able to get Schilling from time to time here in NC - fantastic lagers! Really great stuff.
