Just wanted to share a quick post regarding floating dip tubes. I have been in the habit of changing the floating dip tube every time I clean the keg. (OK, OK mostly every time) I figure it's good insurance for the next batch.

For example, take a look at this dip tube that was used twice. Seems like it would be hard to clean and is quicker and safer to just replace it every time.
Pro Tip: when you empty a keg for cleaning, remove the old dip tube then cut a fresh piece to match the same length so it's faster and ready for the next batch right away.
Here's an amazon link for the tubing I use for a floating dip tube.
Hope this helps.....

Good tip. I have to admit that I don't change mine that often...fortunately hasn't been an issue so far!
